SOTHERBY'S AGENT A AND INCOMPETENT

We called this agent Lee Upman and she had informed us that the property had become available to rent and we were the first people and we are on the list (no 1).

We have been calling her to arrange for a viewing the same day and she informed us that the people residing at that place went away for Eid Mubarak or something similar.

She then confirmed that we will meet on the afternoon of Thursday so she can show us the place. We then informed her that we saw it online and we like it, we'll see it and confirm there and then as we already have the deposit and 1st month's rent.

Earlier today, she and says oh no the property is actually a 2 bed and not a 3 bed but the advert clearly states 3 bed flat in Umngeni Park.

She is now playing games and playing hide and seek. She no longer responds to the phone calls and does not respond to emails nor does she respnd to smses. Is it because we are blacks and she thinks we cannot afford the place (yet we got the money within 24hrs). Or is there favouritism in their company or she doesnt have values of trust, honesty and transparency?

I am disgusted at this type of behaviour and at her company for having hired such people.
