Stinking attitude from security gaurds!!!

I am utterly disgusted by the lack of protocol when it comes Residents entering the Via Vercelli complex.
For the second time I have been given a hassle by the same security guard when I arrived at the gate without my remote control and a flat cellphone therefore he says it was impossible for him to allow me into my home.
I accept that every organisation has rules but surely you must have back up or contingency plans!!! In this day and age of a short battery life of cellphones it is not impossible for your phone to be flat by the time to get home and therefore the security guard cannot dial my unit number in order to allow me access into the property. And hello!!! It IS possible to forget your remote control. But do I have to be crucified because I have a flat battery and forgotten my remote control. I don't want any favours however I do expect a back up plan. Example: a sticker on the car of residence as an additional means of access to residents. You must have a contingency plan and must be consistent in implementing it. The first time I was in this situation I was made to fill a register however yesterday the same guard was explicitly rude towards me and treated me like a criminal!
