"Call on Monday when the boss is back" What a joke

The remote control provided to my by ADT has stopped working. I took it to a security shop where they checked the battery, and it is fine. They suggested the problem with with the service provider.

I just phoned your call centre and was told that I could have a technician come to look at it on Wednesday. Today is Friday. What am I supposed to do in the interim?? This remote control puts my beams on and off.

I was then told that if I called on Monday I could perhaps have access to a standby technician who could maybe come on Monday, at a cost of R600 to me! Again, what do you suggest I do in the interim? Also, this product was provided to me by you, and you expect me to pay to have it fixed?

I am paying a monthly fee to you for the provision of security services, which is useless to me if I cannot put my beams on and off. Yet I can, at the earliest, have the service restored on Monday, if I pay R600!

Absolutely shocking service. How can you hold yourselves out as an emergency company, responding at all hours, if this is how your business works?

Your Facebook page proudly advertises ADT as "delivering unsurpassed customer service". What a joke!
