Put someone off regarding a property by lying

Went to her office to check for renting a property, we sort of agree regarding a monthly amount for the rent.
We were supposed to go and check together the property few days after our meeting.
I called her several times, and left a message with one of her colleagues and she did not get back to me.
I send her an email and when finally I got hold on her, she said was waiting for the tenants getting back to her to fix an appointment in order to view the house. She said she never got the email, that's not possible as I did not get back any postdelivery in my email saying that they server is full or that email address does not exist, so it went through.

Finally I called her to ask for that viewing and she told me someone took the house already, I asked her why she did not tell me anything, she said everything happen so "suddenly".

I found out that she went to see the house with other clients while she was avoiding to get back on me.
