Make very sure you recieve what you sign for?

I purchased a 3 x bedroom ground Floor Garden unit at The William In Fourways. My purchase was based on what i viewed at the show units. The unit had a patio that had one step onto the grass of the enclosed garden. After signing all the final documentation, i went to look at the progress of my unit only to find that the Patio of my unit is 2 meters above the ground and has a flight of steps to the garden that has to have a safety rail across the patio. I signed plans in my Agreement Of Sale that do not indicate no stair case or safety rails on my patio. This matter has been handed over to my lawyers. Make very sure you recieve what you sign for?
