UNREGISTERED AGENT CLAIMS COMMISSIONS

An agent by the name Helena Human, operating in the Albertinia area, sold our property in latter 2012, not disclosing that she was an unregistered agent without a valid FFC for a number of years, as was confirmed by EAAB upon enquiry by the attorneys. Transferring attorneys requested copy of FFC valid as at date of sale, as stipulated by EAAB before commission would be paid. Both agent and agency are unable to produce this document.

This agent is now treating us, the sellers, with total disrespect, ridicule, making snide and derogatory remarks via emails and sms.

A charge of misconduct and illegal trading has now been laid with the EAAB.

She also collected the rent for another property of ours in the same complex, but she was given notice that she would no longer be involved with this property. She has now gone and collected the rent from the tenants and refuses to pay it over. This constitutes.

Beware of this rude and unprofessional agent, and all agents working under the umbrella of Cape Route Properties, as none seem to be registered!
