APPAULED AT ticket officials and security gaurds!!

Dear Metrorail

I am completely appualed at how the ticket officials 'arrest' people and demand a R40 'fine' to be paid! This then goes into their own pockets, to add to this they threaten to call the police to issue fines. But if you are willing to buy them ciggaretes or a cooldrink, etc this all then goes away!

This happened to me personally this morning, whilst i did have a valid ticket but had to pay R50. Yes, an extra R10 to bargain someone else out of it. I was then an hour late for work due to this incompetence!! I demand to be compensated for this, I want my money back!

Further more the securtiy gaurds beat people with their battons and take possesion of their personal belongings, this is. They then proceed to strip these people of their clothes and beat them! This is inhumane and traumatic to all involved, regardless of your background not one person is deserving of this.

Something needs to change, this indefinitely needs to stop! I will not stop till this is resolved, too long has this been going on!!
