Military doctor didn't bother telling me to go get my ear checked

I was called to Nelspruit for military entry test which i passed then i passed all medical test but there seemed to be a problem in my left ear although i can hear very well but the military doctor didn't inform me that i had to go to a private doctor to check my ears and fax them the report, i waited to be called for training but i wasnt called and when i followed up, i was told that they were waiting for my doctor's report, how was i supposed to know that when their doctor didn't tell me to go see an ear doctor? Now im too old to appy again.
