Settler's Hospital
No doctor at the emergency room!

I took my son to the Settlers Hospital at about 17:35 on the 04.02.2013. My son was very sick. We were quickly attended to by the nurses on duty and my son was put on oxygen. He became better after the oxygen and we were told to wait for the doctor. This was at about 18:00. The doctors shift was apparently suposed to start at 18:00. An hour went by and the doctor had not arrived. When the nurses called him/her he said he was on his way. More time went by and the doctor still didnt arrive. My son's condition was getting worse again. I eventually left the hospital at 21:05, over three hours later, and the doctor still had not arrived! Luckily my son is better now as I took him to doctor's rooms the next day. I feel sorry for the people who have no medical aids in public hospitals as this is the kind of treatment that they have to endure when seeking medical help. The doctor who was supposed to be on duty on this day has no regard for human life! He/she is a disgrace to the medical fraternity.
