I'm on the Discovery KeyCare Plus plan, I've mostly had nothing but headaches with the service provided. When I initially got on the plan I had no idea about choosing a network provider (I'm on this medical aid simply because my company chose it) anyway so the consultant chose my assigned doctor, when I tried to schedule an appointment with said doctor I couldn't as the number given was incorrect. I then called discovery and they advised that I could go to any doctor within their prescribed network which I did. That went okay along with my subsequent visit to a doctor (Dr 2). Months later I tried to go see (Dr 2) I was told that I had used up my out of network visits, I didn't entirely understand this but okay. Called the call centre explained the situation and the guy was very helpful except the doctor had moved offices and Discovery hadn't updated their list. After haunting for said doctor I got to see him. When I went for a follow-up check to my surprise I discovered the doctor was no longer practicing, called Discovery again and they weren't helpful so couldn't see a Dr then. Today I had another incident apparently my medical aid is inactive which I don't understand.
