Late delivery of Company Registration Certificate

I filled in my companyapplication forms online and unfortunately I swapped my names around against how they appear on my ID book. Anyway i went to the DTI and after two weeks of going from this office to that office and still no result. I was advised to to fill in a CoR 39 and a CoR 31 to ensure that my mistake will be rectified. I, blindly, filled in the documents without knowledge of their correctness. This is now the third week from the day I submitted the amendment documents and still no response from the department.

This problem has been persisting since the 18th of October 2013 and nothing has happened up to thus far. I know I made an error in filling in the documents online but surely that does constitute a further punitive measure from the department. My business is currently sitting like dead wood in the water and I can't do anything to at least further any of the required processes. I have really been patient and liaised with some agents of the department and still no joy.
