I have been a subscriber to The Star newspaper for years with an annual renewal. Their service is simply shocking and this has been my experience:

1. When you log a call of non delivery of the newspaper, they do not provide you a reference number. On the annual renewal, you are not rebated and you cannot argue the point as there is no reference number.
2. They do not supply you your renewal notice. My Star subscription has expired end of October, no delivery has taken place and not even a courtesy call despite me renewing my Saturday Star subscription.
3. When I complained about the non delivery of my S/Star, I am advised to log this within 2 days. Nonsense.
4. They have yet to deliver the magazine of my choice over the last 2 years - Personal Finance. Catch a wake-up call and totally unacceptable.

Just highly frustrated that a company of this nature which reports on consumerism, can provide service of this nature.
