Since the so called upgrade on the SAA Website in October 2012 I have been degraded from Star Alliance Gold to Star Alliance Silver. I became a SAA Voyager Paltimum member in the mean time, but is still a Star Alliance Silver member! Everytime the "Problem will be rectified on your next flight."
Quite embarrasing to be chased away from an International Airport lounge Where you should have "Star Gold" privileges.
You are lucky if you get a response from the call desk within three days. Phones are apparently non existing.
Anyone else had the same trouble?
