I received a call from Star Sat customer services (26 December 2013) about my previous complaint about the problems we are experiencing with Star Sat Indian Channels, the channels that are freezing and the shows are not corresponding with the guide times and some channels remain blank the whole day due to signal problems. They responded by saying that they are moving the transponders from Germany to Beijing and that the software upgrade will be complete and that the Indian channels programmes are 2 hours ahead and that all problems will be sorted by the 1 January 2014. But today is the 6 January 2014 and still the problems are there. I have given Star Sat the benefit of the doubt and paid my subscription for January thinking that all will be fine but it seems that I was wrong in believing the response received from Star Sat. We are paying for a service which is now proving to be totally dis-satisfactory and frustrating to the viewer and Star Sat has no plan to credit us for this wasted service and has no foresight as to when these problems will be fixed. We never had these problems when TopTv was operating.
