This was by far the worst service I have ever received in my entire life at Hi-Fi Corporation N1 City Goodwood. I purchased two Vodacom TAB8 Tablets with cash/card on Friday, 12.09.2025, for my twin daughters' 8th birthday on Saturday. Only to bring it back within 24 hours on Saturday morning, one of the tablets had lines across the whole screen and did not want to turn on, while the other one was fine.
I was told to wait 7 working days for this to be sent away, and then they would either fix or replace the product. I said that this was a birthday gift and would like a refund on both. They told me I had to pay a 15% handling fee; I had brought back these items with the original packaging and all the accessories. But I was told I could not return the one that was not faulty, which had not even been in my possession for more than 24 hours.
I was refused any original documents until I had to become a little loud so that I could also be heard. To make a long story short, I had to pay them R150.00 and wait almost 48 hours for my money to be deposited back into my bank account. This cost me to drive from Bellville to Goodwood twice at my expense, with bank charges, and then still giving out the full R2000.00 again so that my twin daughters could have a birthday gift. They do not have a heart and will steal your money with no shame.
