I bought a Proline Tablet from Matrix Warehouse Alberton on 1st of May 2013. It has been only 6 days and the Tablet is faulty. The touch screen flashes lines and becomes less responsive as well as confused. This was confirmed by Eugene when the tablet was tested today 7th of May 2013. As per the NCA if a product is faulty and is returned within 7 days it WILL be replaced, it is even visible in Matrix Warehouses own warranty clause. Yet the 1st thing I get told is it is past 7 days and the Tablet will have to be sent in. After many explanations they agreed that it is less than 7 days BUT they still have to send it in. When asked why, I was told that as per terms and conditions Tablets do NOT get replaced but get fixed. So I now paid R2300 for something that was faulty and is now going to get fixed. If I wanted a second hand Tablet I would have bought one. My issue here is that fact that their terms and conditions do NOT state tablets, they use a clause that states "Notebooks, PDA's, GPS's, UPS's, Monitors, and Printers" to justify the repair on a Tablet. How is this? So If I buy a faulty memory stick, will that also fall in this category somehow? So now I have to wait ANOTHER 7 days
