Dear Suzuki West Rand Management,
I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding a distressing incident that occurred during my recent vehicle service appointment at your dealership on the Thursday following Heritage Day.
After navigating heavy morning traffic, I dropped off my vehicle and removed what I believed were all personal belongings. Unfortunately, I later discovered that my 6-year-old son's cell phone had been left on the back seat. Upon collecting him from school, he informed me that his phone was missing.
That evening, I contacted your dealership and requested a review of your security footage. I was informed that the footage had been reviewed and showed no indication of the phone being removed from the vehicle. Later that night, I remembered that my son's phone has location tracking enabled. The device was located several kilometers away from your dealership—raising serious concerns about its whereabouts and how it came to be there.
The following morning, I returned to your dealership and shared all relevant information. While the service advisor was courteous and tried to assist, I was later contacted by a manager who responded in a dismissive and rude manner, stating that your staff could not be blamed.
I am deeply disappointed by this response. My child is understandably upset, and I am simply seeking accountability and a resolution. I respectfully request that this matter be investigated further and that any possible steps be taken to recover the phone or clarify what happened.
I trust that Suzuki values its customers and will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves.
