Pathetic service from our post office

I need to send a few letters containing photographs over seas and want to know how to package these. Should I send them in a letter or as a parcel?

Well, I have just been on their site and can NOT find ANY information on rates. Their primary function is to deliver post and it is impossible to find out how much this primary service will cost. They wax lyrical on the asthetics of stamps but not the cost.

When visiting a branch, the staff are too busy to provide such information so you just have to stand in the queue for however long and pay whatever you get told to pay. The usual response when queried is "I don't know and I don't care".

The rates are also not consistent. A difference of 1mm can cost more than double and a few extra grams likewise. When you are at the counter it is too late to change the size or weight. What a pathetic organisation. They are in a dying market and still treat their customer like an inconvenience.
