Deceptive Online Shop Owne

Miscellaneous

On the 22 November 2012 I placed an order for a La Pearla Funky Duck Daper Bag to be delivered to a friends home address as a gift. I supplied the address in the purchase order for delivery. Around the 20 November 2012 I was sent the tracking number for this delivery, which I forwarded to my friend. The delivery never arrived. My friend contacted the Post Office and was advised that her gift was sitting at the Bryanston Post Office waiting. I was charged R69.00 for the delivery of this item to my friends home yet it was sitting at the Post Office with the name of another Baby company on it. I tried calling the owner of this online shop Debbie-Dee Swart on both her mobile and landline, the number just rang. I then emailed her and the emails were answered ASAP but my calls continued to be ignored. I asked Debbie why I had been charged for a delivery at my friends home if the item was sitting at the Post Office with another name on it. Debbie blamed the Post Office for the error. My friend collected the item from Bryanston. I contacted the supplier that Debbie purchased the bag from in Natal and they advised me that they were not given my friends details. Debbie profits off deliveries
