I would like to commend Volkswagen Tavcor York (George, Western Cape) for excellent service.

In the early months of 2013 my Jetta TSI started having engine problems. I took it in to have it looked at and I was informed that one of the pistons had broken. Volkswagen replaced it as the car was still under warrantee. In the following weeks the car started emitting smoke from the exhaust pipe and so I reluctantly took it back in (by this time the warrantee had expired). In the weeks that passed the garage had appointed a new service manager, Chris Koen, who informed me that the whole engine had been faulty and not just the one piston. I was relieved to find out that because of an incorrect initial diagnosis, Volkswagen covered the entire fee to fit the car with a brand new engine.
