My Mother from Cape Town is visiting in Johannesburg. She forgot one of the bags. We decided to send the package via Speed Services from Cape Town to Johannesburg on the 27/28 of January 2014. Up until today almost a week later, we still haven't received the goods. I believe they are having a strike and operations department are close because of this. But I feel they don't pick up the phone and notify their customers of the delay or to say that the package is still safe and will be delivered to the branch in a couple of days. I mean if I didn't call you to find out where my package is, I wouldn't know and turn blue of waiting. You promised on that day the package was submitted that it would arrive the next morning at 10 am. And still I have to phone after you. I find this unacceptable, no communications, nothing whatsoever. I want to request a refund and I am extremely unhappy about this. If you told me from day 1 there is a strike and the package might not be in time, I could have made another plan.
