Broken machine, no refund

I booked sessions with this lady and during my last few sessions her machine broke. I was thus obligated to stop the sessions at that time. Our plans changed with regards to immigration and I will thus not be able to go for any sessions from this year, firstly as my planning was to finish them last year and secondly she mover premises and is thus much further to travel. I phoned her and sms'd her and inquired about a refund due to the situation.

She blankly refused and said I could come anytime or get a voucher for not even for the full remainder of the sessions left.

This is bad business and definitely not professional.
