Sanral once again messed up accounting system!!

After registering for an etag in early January 2014 and using the system successfully for three weeks, we now have received an email advising that there is a discrepancy between the vehicle license plate number registered on my etoll account and the vehicle licence plate number detected during a transaction and was advised that we would loose the discount if this was not resolved quickly. After spending an hour on the phone to their customer service dept trying to resolve this matter, it was a struggle to try and make the customer service agent differentiate between an alphabetical O and a numerical 0 on my number plate. It appears to be an error on SANRAL's computer system, and the agent having checked this confirmed that the problem was on their side. Can SANRAL please get their act together!!! n We were further advised that the outcome of this problem, when resolved, would be emailed to us in 5 - 7 working days.
