Volkswagen
Damaged vehicle

Miscellaneous

I own a 2013 Polo GTi that i purchased in February 2013. I sent my car in to Strijdom park VW and I followed the towing service and checked my car in as the engine blew. The vehicle was checked by the guard and I signed a document to declare there where no damages to the vehicle. So once my vehicle was in I was called by a consultant who advised that the head was blown and that they had to send it to the engineers. Firstly I waited almost a week for a courtesy vehicle which I understood as they obviously didn't have a vehicle available for me. After a week I was called and advised that the engine head is back in the vehicle but there was an issue with the radiator so they only placed an order for it then. My car was taken in on the 5th/6th of December and I got a call on the 22nd of December saying that they needed to order the radiator. Thereafter it was the holidays and I got a call on the 29th of December and was told i needed a new engine. So after all this I got my car on the 28th of January only to see that my Bumber was cracked and there are scrathes on my vehicle on the back wheel arch, front fender and left review mirror. They denied it and said that they would contact me.
