Over paid, now waiting to get money back

We bought a trailer from Cool Guys Solutions, owned by Steven Horn, and paid monies into his account. After some time we were told that the trailer would be completed at a set date, which never happened. After a number of excuses the date was moved. Out of frustration we went to his workshop to see what was actually done, only to discover that nothing had been, but once again a number of excuses and passing the buck. After a couple of days we went again to see what is being done. This time there was some work done but at a snails pace.

It became clear the his was "rolling" projects and who ever screams the loudest gets attention. (Being present when Steven received a couple of calls from other irate customers confirmed this) Eventually we changed the specs to "help" and reduce the workload, but actually just trying to get the trailer from him. This change resulted in a reduction in price.

We have been waiting now for just over a month for the credit, but Steven has given no more than 15 excuses for not not paying. We have even been asked to give bank statements as he definitely made the eft payment" but alas we still are waiting.

Please be careful when doing business with him.
