Hi Tech Cars
Poor workmanship

Miscellaneous

I took my 2001 Ford Fiesta Rsi to get the engine overhauled. The day i took the car in, I had to put R5000 as deposit for the engineering work to begin. My car was at the workshop for 3 months. The day I fetched it, I had to pay another R9780. Out of my own pocket, I had to buy a new oil dip stick and new thermostat housing that they broke wich cost me R500 for these two parts. Then just the otherday discovered that they didn't put my tensioner pulley back and the fitted the wrong fan belt that is to short. The company is now under new management and the previouse manager now working at mogale auto said to me yesterday its not his problem anymore and that hi-tech motors should fix it. I warn all people in the krugersdorp and roodepoort area not to do business with this garage. The people drink beer on the job. They offered me to have a drink one saturday as I was there to check up on my car! I want my car fixed and fitted a new tensioner pulley and the right fan belt. I'm only a apprentice and I personally think that the money I had to pay for this poor quality is insane! Never again. I WANT MY CAR FIXED 100% as soon as possible because I need to travel to Randburg to work!
