In response to the complaint by Ruhan Coetzee on 22 January 2014 about the Megane cluster marked in miles per hour, Renault replied as follows, and I quote: "We have investigated your complaint and confirmed that the matter of miles per hour reflective on the instrument cluster has been discussed and confirmed with your father before fitment."

This is a blatant lie. My father only found out about this after the car was back at home. I have spoken to the dealership and all involved denied discussing the matter with him before fitment.

I would like Renault to forward the name and number of the person who allegedly spoke to my father so we can get to the bottom of this. As a Renault owner myself I'm extremely disappointed in the way the company is dealing with this matter and expect them to apologise to my father, on this forum, for calling him a.
