Refuse to pay a refund

In Oct 2013 I ordered a fence for my Ryobi table saw and was told it would be available in 5 days. it only arrived 3 weeks later. when I went to collect and pay for it I told the salesman that it did not look like the correct size. He confirmed the part number and assured me it would fit my B2500 model. On returning home it did not fit.

I returned the next day and was told by a different salesman that it was the wrong part. He could get the correct part but it would take a week and was over R100 more expensive. I told him that I was not prepared to pay more and wait another 3 weeks and that I would rather just leave it and get a refund. I was sent to the manager who took my details and assured me that the money would be refunded into my account within a few days.

Despite several e-mails, telephone conversations and promises it is now January 17, 2014 - over 2 months and I still have not received the refund. This is downright and disgusting that an international brand such as Ryobi treat customers in such a dismissive manner.

I will never buy a Ryobi tool again.
