Last year on the 17th December I received a call from Selldirect with a great data offer from telkom mobile.
It all sounded good so I decided to go for it and eargerly awaited my new phone which would arrive in 7 days time. Seven days passed, no delivery. Few more days passed, month end comes and wham the 'pro rata' initiation fee gets deducted from my bank account and still no phone. With all the public holidays in December, I thought I would give them more time for the delivery. Yesterday, a whole month later at 4pm, I get a call from Selldirect offering me insurance on the phone I never receive. I told the lady that I want to cancel the deal to which she said she cant assist me, I would have to call 0210017500 to cancel it. I've phoned that number 5 times since this morning and it just rings and rings and rings. Selldirect is a very appropriate name for this excuse of company, all they are interested in is the Sale! No customer service at all!
