The last service (on the 31st December and still unresolved), I came in for a service for the 150, 000km. Firstly, I was charged 10.5 hrs for labour but the service was promised to be complete by 12:00. I phoned at 12:00 and was told that the car was ready. I was picked up at 12:20 and had to wait for the car till approximately after 13:00. I understand that this was a major service, but I should not be told that the car is ready when it was not. Then when the car was ready, the technician came to me and asked me to have a look at "something". He went on to show me that my v-belt was damaged and that it needed to be replaced. I then asked why it was not replaced and why I wasn't contacted about the issue? It seems that the service provider forgot to contact me about this. Furthermore, the technician said that the oil cap was stripped from the "last service" and I needed a new one. The last service was with GM McCarthy Hatfield. Also, the car internally was messy. My service, radio, warranty books, were scattered on the passenger seat with the seat cover plastic ontop. I expect that the book at least be placed back in the cubby-hole where it was found.
