Eskom fails to install cable

A copper cable supplying electricity to my house was 2 weeks ago. I immediately reported the case to Eskom call centre, upon which I was informed that the cable will be replaced within 4 hours and given a reference number with which to track the repair. Needless to say, the cable has not been replaced to date, despite calling every six hours. What is really disheartening is the fact that the agents and the field technicians claim that the field technicians do not find anyone at home. I have been given 3 reference numbers (i.e. 111066359; 111066123; 111210385) which seem to be closed at the call centre agent or technicians will. This is a blatant as I have, specifically taken days off work to ensure that I await the repair. I have lost all faith in Eskom and really do not see why we should be subjected to paying inflated electricity costs as well as taxes while there is no commensurate service delivery. In my opinion, Eskom filled with incompetent clowns who have no idea what they are doing. The service `i have received is absolutely revolting. I would have appreciated to be tad the truth rather than blatant, which insult my intelligence.
