Hi, on Sunday 5th May our electricity cut off i reported the incident REF:94100420 then technicians came and identified that the main cable that connects the household power to the main supply is faulty and needs to be repaired. Technicians came twice until Tuesday 7th May and claimed they need a bigger machine to do tests, never saw them since, so the rest of the week i have been calling Eskom callcentre and logging calls REFs: 94401235, 94309126, 94346690, 94483514, 94725423, 9489173 and all but the recent ref are closed with comments "Your power has been restored" yet no technician has come to my house and fix it.
The account holder is my grandmother and is in the house sick, my mother used to pay a little on the account until she eventually got sick herself so they are both staying in the house and cannot walk or do anything for themselves. I understand that the account has not been paid in a while because of personal issues but the old lady is a pensioner. So on Monday we had technician come to our house and they have since gone away to fetch a cable to be implemented and never came back until i got an sms from eskom stating "Our power has been restored according to the departme
