I am very unhappy with Eskom. On Saturday 14/12/2013 around 11h00 my electricity went off. I thought it was load shedding only to realise at around 15h00 that it was only my house without electricity. I contacted your call centre immediately and was given a reference number told that i would be assisted in maximum 4 hours. At around 6pm i got an sms that i had been assisted, which was utter rubbish!! Called the call centre again and was given another reference number being told that its being logged as new complaint. No one came through still. I called again at around 10pm and requested that my problem be treated as an emergency as i have a 3 month old baby and electricity is a need. The next morning i called the call centre again at 7am. And again at 11am after receiving an sms that i had been assisted. Only Saturday 16h00 did a technician come through and he also couldn't resolve the issue saying we'd have to wait in a list for some machine which can take minimum 2 weeks. I do things the correct way yet when it comes to me being assisted it is a problem!!! So can somebody PLEASE tell me how to live without electricity and a baby and food perishing in the fridge?
