I have not had electricity since 01:00 Sunday 26th January. Everytime I call the emergency call centre, I've been given the same response. Not only has the electrician been rude but they didn't even inform me the reason why I have no power or even run a test once they have attempted to fix the problem. Two electricians have tried to fix the problem and both did the exact same thing as I mentioned above. The electricity bills are twice as much as it used to be, and bills are paid on time every month, is it to much to ask for immediate service? Should you be delayed in payment, Eskom reacts immediately to cut the lines, so why isn't that exact approach used when help is needed, as well as why aren't professional electricians hired considering the amount of money Eskom has. I am so disappointed with this treatment and I honestly do think that Eskom needs to find a solution to be customer friendly. Considering the fact that Eskom is the biggest electricity company in South Africa, is it to much to ask for customer care? or do they just not value their customers at all.
