Electricity Supply

Hi,

My mom, Mrs. J Sethunyane, is constantly having issues with the supply of power. Between my sister and myself, we have a book full of reference numbers for the number of calls we make to Eskom every other day because of the electricity being cut off.

My mom was advised to get a new, bigger meterbox to have uninterrupted supply and the problem has not gotten any better. When we phone, we get told that its due to overloading during peak time. My mom and 3 houses adjacent to her, experience this every day. Sureyl, they are not the only people with heaters and stoves? other people close by never experience and power failure, unless it is load shedding.
Even with the load shedding, when the power is restored, my mom is still without electricity.

This has been a matter that has been ongoing for over 7 years, since my mom occupied that house.

We are talking about an elderly woman, who is suffering from arthritis and high blood pressure.

All she is asking, is for Eskom to thoroughly investigate the matter and resolve it.
