Being ripped off by SANRAL on an E-tag

I have unfortunately been exposed to the inner workings of e-toll and what a fool I was. I started off by buying an e-tag and registering it. This is due to my work requiring that I travel the Gauteng highways a lot. Also they would only reimburse me at the e-tag rates.

I registered the e-tag on the SANRAL website, but did take the option of a pre-paid account. Everything seemed to work, till a few days later I received a double beep on my e-tag. I went on the Sanral website and check my detailed account. I noted I was getting charged the full amount even though my e-tag was registering on each transaction. I tried phoning their wonderful call centre and keep on getting an"option is not recognised" response. After finally realising this worked in reverse I got through to a lady at the contact centre. This is where it got even scarier. According to her you did not get a discount for an e-tag only for certain hours. She wanted to fob me off but I asked to talk to her supervisor. After a lot of convincing she finally saw what the issue was, and said she would log a case. She said an E-mail/SMS would be sent through to me. None recieved. As yet this is still not resolved.
