I qualified as a Radiographer in South Africa and left the country straight afterwards to work as a Radiographer in some of our neighbouring countries. Since my return I have applied to HPCSA for registration In June 2012. After contacting HPCSA they advise me to send in an application to register plus my registration fee and a pro-rated membership fee for the year. My cheque was banked so I thought "great this went very smoothly", but then it went all quiet with no further acknowledgement of my registration or any further correspondence. I contacted them after a while to follow up on my registration and was referred from one person to another until everything went quiet again. Not wanting to be in the wrong I mailed them another cheque for my membership fee for 2013 and suddenly had a response again. They asked me to resubmit everything again and was allocated a case number. I was told my case had to be brought in front of the Board. Since then I had no further contact from them even though I have send several enquiries. The second cheque never got banked but was also not returned to me. Please can you help. I do not know what more to do.
