Hi,

I'd just like to commend the SPCA in Roodepoort. Last night there was a hit and run incident with a female dachshund. I called the Krugersdorp SPCA and they relayed the message to Roodepoort SPCA. Eric (I forget his name), called and confirmed that he would arrive in 10-15 minutes, which he did so. His knowledge of the area was also spot on. He collected the dog and took her to the Vet.

An hour or so later he called back letting me know the status on the dog. Unfortunately she was paralyzed and had to be put down. The dog had no tag and we're not sure the owners are.
