Unacceptable Quality

I'm amazed at the number of complaints that relate to the supposed guarantee period. I have lived in the same house for over 30 years. In 2005 we decided to renovate amongst other things the bathroom. In the process we decided to go for a bigger geyser. Plumber advised Kwikot 200l pressurized. Within a year of installation a vacuum valve failed and the resulting leak damaged the ceiling in two rooms. On replacing the cheap innocuous part we discovered that the new drip tray was broken which would have prevented ceiling damage if it had been intact. A year later another failure (same vacuum valve) which, based on our earlier bad experience, was identified and repaired by myself.
In 2009 geyser starts leaking at the seams. I phone Kwikot and am amazed at there efficient service in replacing with no charge with a brand new geyser. 3 vacuum valves and 3 years later we have another complete meltdown. Hot water is pouring out the side seams faster than the drip tray can handle. Large part of the house flooded and the same two rooms which had new ceilings put in, have once again been damaged beyond repair.
