Honouring of year guarantee on geyser element

My insurance co informed me to lodge a claim with Kwikot for a geyser element on a geyser that was replaced on 4 Dec. 2012- warranty claim. I called kwikot and after a struggle was referred to their supervisor "Jan". Jan informed me that my geysers element only had a 1 year guarantee and that he needed the geysers code and serial number to determine the age of the geyser. I drove home got into the roof and called Jan again with the code and serial no. He informed me that the code indicated that the geyser must have been installed October 2012. I differed with him and said it was early December. He informed me that he needed proof of this. I tracked the company who installed the geyser and requested a job card as proof. They could only supply a letter on their company letterhead as proof that the geyser was installed on 4 Dec 2012. I sent it to Jan at Kwikot and he said it was not acceptable and would not send out a plumber to fix it under the guarantee. I have internet banking proof that I paid my access on the claim on 10 Dec 2012. Kwikot do not honour their guarantees! I have spent most of today just making phone calls! Getting into the roof etc. & still no plumber or hot wate
