Way too much personal information required!

I am surprised that to place a simple order of some minor supplies (5 garments) the company requires not only all my CK document and registration but they want our IDs. I am ready and willing to pay up front (as we do) but they won't generate an invoice. They won't send an open file, so I am forced to drive to print it out, scan it and send it back. Please beware of giving your IDs to anyone as if they are not a bona fide financial service provider (bank etc) or the government, they are NOT allowed to ask for this kind of information.

As yourself, each time you buy something at the store, do you give your ID number? They give me a complete runaround
