I bought a Ma-Baker bread maker mid-July and after a month and only /- 5 uses it was no longer working. The process would have been to return it to the retailer who would send it back to the supplier for assessment with a min. 6 week wait etc. etc. This process is always extremely frustrating because the customer is never kept informed and has to make countless phone calls, nag and threaten, usually with an unsatisfactory outcome. It would also mean my time and petrol to run up and down to the retailer.
Instead, I sent an email with my complaint to Creative Housewares, not expecting much if anything at all. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised. Beverley arranged for the speedy collection of the faulty appliance and delivery of the replacement, completely hassle-free for me. I am delighted, amazed and grateful AND not stressed at all. WOW! Thank you, Beverley. I will certainly be looking out for the Mellerware brand from now on.
