Miscellaneous

I can always be amazed that bussinesses put up a website, and add contact detail to the website.

You then send a query to the email address they advertise, on their website, and are hit by dead silence. It is just astonishing to me at how owners of bussiness can not grasp the concept that it it bad bussiness practice to not answer client queries.

Eg, Ryobi advertises an IG-1000 Digital Generator on a Makro add, for R3, 999. I am curious, I have never heard about a Digital Generator before. So, I hit the internet, try to read up what is it, and how does it work. I get NO info about such generators.

So, logical step, you go to the ryobi website, the one with co do za at the end. And I ask them, please give more info about this product, or send a document that describe the product. I send this query, 16 Jan 2013.

On 21 Jan 2013 I can see someone reads the email. It is now 23 Jan 2013. Not heard a peep.

Well, thanks Ryobi, that is the cue for me to not buy this product, or any other Ryobi product again. Clearly you are doing to well to just attent to little old me :-) Thanks for nothing.

Why do you give contact details if one must not contact you.
