What are they doing in client service!

So the other day I walk into Inglot in Canal Walk after looking for primer for I don't even know how long. I've been promised a call when it arrives but that never came so anywoo here i go in search for it again. Walking into the store there is a make up artist with ginger curly hair applying make up to a client, no one else around to help me, so I say excuse me can I have that primer (pointing out to the primer) which is on DISPLAY (to trick me) and no doubt also being applied to the woman's face. She turns around and gives me a look of and say "we don't have" & turns back to her client leaving me hanging. Then a girl appears from the back, skinny white girl, long jet black hair, so i think ok, i might just get better assistance here, alas!! she tells me, we're out! what do you want me to do about it! Agast, i say, you guys are forcing me to another product. She looks at me and shrugs as in whatever eff off..! thats genuinely how i felt. Now... if you cannot meet supply and demand then surely your staff should know how to let people down gently. A friendly, "i can give you samples and take your number and call you when it arrives, even though its a big fat lie, it'll do!!
