I purchased a Groupon voucher for a VIP SPA package for myself and my husband as a birthday treat for him. I booked our appointment in May for 7 July. This in itself was not an easy task, as they only provide cell numbers and no one ever answers, or the phone is off!
I called Thursday (4 July) to confirm our appointment. Everything was in order. Sat night (6 July) I got an SMS to say they had to move our app since they were doing maintenance the Sunday. A SMS? What kind of service is this?
I then had to tell my husband his surprise was postponed. This was very dissappointing. They smsd (not even bothered to call) and moved our appointment to Saturday, 13 July at 5pm. I called again the Friday, 12 July to confirm our appointment for the next day. Everything was in order.
We arrived at the Lakes Hotel the Saturday, only to be told that the Spa had moved out of their rented space on 7 July already (the same day they supposedly had maintenance for our first app?!!)
I then tried to call them, to get their new address. Both phones were off!!!
We were furious. Not once did they say that the had moved. Apparently they have moved to Boksburg. Does Groupon not research the companies?? What a!!
