LUDECROUS COST FOR QUOTATION

I have a 10 year old washing machine that does not go into spin cycle I asked if someone could see if it was worth fixing or not the amount given to collect and inspect seemed reasonable below R200
now the company informed me the cost to repair is R1200 that was the price of it new. so it means not repairable.
the problem now is the cost they are billing me for transport and the quote is R444... this is ridiculous seeing the repairs are out of the question..the response to my asking why so mutch was" we give all our customers the same rhime."
If however I was told the inspection to see if repairs was viable was going to cost this mutch I would have put the machine in the dustbin myself at no cost.
so you learn the hard way.
