Incompetent staff

On 24 April my father had went to the post office to fetch a registered mail which had come from the USA and i had given him a letter of authority and my passport to fetch the item, the lady at the counter was very arrogant and did not allow hime to fetch the item, she said to him that I can come in on Saturday and not advising him that it was a public holiday and that the post office will be closed, so I had wasted my time to go there and also I had to take a flight to the USA on the same day without the importand documents which i had missed entry to an important seminar, how slow and incompetant could the staff and post office be and yet the item was sent to South Afriacn at the beggining of the month and i only got the reminder on the 23 April.
