I wonder if my account will ever have a R0 balance

I got an account from MBD Attorneys that I owe R2163.00 which I paid on 11 February 2013. The following month I got an sms and a call telling me that there's an interest of R200 and something and I made a payment of R300. I was assured that I would have settled my account and will get my paid-up letter. The unfortunate part is every time I get a call from them, it is a different consultant on the line. If they indeed record their calls as they claim, they will pick up that one lady consultant actually committed that this will be my final payment. On Saturday I got a call from a gentleman called Thabo who was telling me that I must make the payment and I'm welcome to take the matter however far I want to, showing very little empathy for my situation. I cannot continue paying this account. I want a paid up letter and for whatever charges they keep on adding monthly, to be scrapped because I am not prepared to continue being ripped off with these ridiculous interest fees. Then as if that is not enough: I get an sms after Thabo had called me saying that MBD Attorneys has been trying to get hold of me as if I am not reachable. This is misrepresenting customers in a big way.
