Account settled yet they claim I still owe

I am paying my Nestar Tracker with VVM Attorneys. I've been paying R100 each month but in December 2012 I phoned their number 0877401188 and asked what the settlement amount was. I was told it was R388 and some cents but that if I wished to settle the account I would get a 30% discount. I asked what the discount amount was and was told I needed to pay R271.89. On the 24th of December I paid the amount via EFT.

2 months later I get an sms from VVM to say I still owe R120.06??? I phoned and spoke to Houston who is very unprofessional and doesn't know what he's doing... he claims I still need to pay the R120.00... I am trying to settle my debts but this is very frustrating, they are promising you one thing and you oblige, next thing I still owe them.
