I received a sms from them I Jan 2013 for 20% discount if I settle my account. I phoned them and told them I wont be able to settle but will pay 500 extra on top of the 165.00 that they receive every month for debt councelling. I phoned them later and told them I will not be able to pay it any more. Then I received sms and email from them threatening to take legal action against me. I at long last phone them to make a new arrangement with them to pay extra on the account. I also made the first payment of R500.00 on 12 February. I was told that I will receive and sms confirming receipt of payment but up to now didnt receive anything

I dont understand how they can threaten me with legal action if Im under debt councelling and they receive payment according the consent order. I am not going to make any more extra payments to them -they will only receive the R165.00 as per the consent order until the account has been paid up.
